Department - Geography

The Department of Geography at Mahila Arts Commerce College, Chandur Railway has been functioning since the 1996. The college is managed by the Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society, Amravati, an organization committed to promoting women’s education in the region. As an exclusive women’s college, the institution was founded with the objective of providing accessible and quality higher education to girls, particularly from rural areas.

Since its inception, the Department of Geography has contributed significantly to this mission by offering a strong academic foundation and fostering spatial awareness among learners.
